Small groups

Student-led Small Groups are weekly encounters on campus with Jesus Christ in His word, prayer, and intentional discipleship. When students know someone who is searching and can say to them “We have found the One” (Jn 1:45), by invitation to a small group they encourage “Come and see” (Jn 1:47). Small groups encourage by prayer and accountability a life centered on Christ, strengthened by the Sacraments, prayer, personal encounter with God’s word, and community, evangelization, and living a moral life.

AVL|CCM helps student leaders prepare to lead Small Groups grounding them in solid catechesis, and moral teaching; encouraging encounter, relationship, and invitation to others; and instilling that effective small groups come from prayer and personal preparation.
